About

Bio

I'm Mingrath Mekavichai, a machine learning and AI engineer moving from veterinary neurosurgery toward computational neuroscience. My clinical background includes neurology and orthopedic care, medical writing, clinical research coordination, and veterinary pathology. I hold a DVM and an MSc, and that experience shaped how I approach technical work: set the pass bar before the run, keep the evidence traceable, and question numbers I cannot defend.

I retrained through Super AI Engineer Season 6 with AIAT and earned a Gold Medal. Today I am an AI Engineer at AXONS, part of CP Group. Outside AXONS, I co-founded CatWhoCode, a studio that builds websites and AI chatbots for Thai small businesses. I also took part in MIT Hacking Medicine 2025 and earned a medal in the Open category at Thailand Cyber Top Talent 2026.

I am now studying computational neuroscience and starting projects in that space. I love local language models and open-source AI tools, especially systems I can run, inspect, and own. My work connects applied machine learning with careful evaluation and the questions that first drew me to neural systems in the clinic.
